![]() Our family went here back in December for my daughter's birthday a good time turned bad a bug in the room we had to change room to a dirty room that was used they were great and compensated us even though I expected them to give my daughter a shout out for her birthday that they didn't. Great wolf you've lost a loyal patron I am truly disappointed. I've been coming here since I was a kid and I'm seriously disappointed I know the Wisconsin great wolf is much much better but wow this was absolutely terrible. The arcade door even get me started most of the machines are broken or not working properly and they have one or two people in the ticket center working more waiting of course for the overly ticketed items you spend 200$ on arcade machines do not expect to get more then 20$ in fair value ticket even if you hit game jackpots. Multiple water slides or lazy river were out of order because they were understaffed on a weekend they know it's going to be packed. ![]() Staff resets the machine another visit to the store for this machine still doesn't work properly. The dragon battle sensor is almost completely broken, both my son and another two family's were there trying to get it to work after 8 plus tries. The quest portals were also constantly broken and needed to be reset oh boy more trips to the store to get the machines reset. Finally they replaced it so he could actually do the quests. Seriously i spend over a thousand dollars and that's the best they could do? I'll never come back here, but wait there's more we wait 3 times (hour wait each time only one person working) in the magi quest store to have my sons wand fixed or adjusted pretty sure it was broken when they sold it. I said something to the staff at which point they said they were fully booked and offered free breakfast or 50$. Our room beds were awful lumpy and extremely uncomfortable. The Waterpark Is pretty great and that's the only reason this wasn't a 1 star review. Bonus- we hit the rainforest cafe on our way out, it’s right around the corner! All in all, it was worth it & it was a fun time for the price we paid. My tips on this would be get a souvenir cup and fill it up as often as possible, bring as many drink & snacks as you can, & if you have to order food there, go for a pizza if your on a budget! #2 is we would have never played the arcade games and taken our kids to cash in their tickets if we had known that you are unlikely to have enough to buy anything! The ticket prices are completely ridiculous. We were so hungry at one point while swimming that we got some food at the restaurant there in the waterpark and is was over $60 for a cheeseburger combo, 2 hotdogs, & a nacho (that’s only one drink). Our family tried to bring as many snacks with us as we could but mind you there is no microwave in your room. My only complaints would be #1 the food is astronomically high. Everything is digital, room keys & payments are scanned from your wrist band. There are many amenities & things to do, as well as places to eat infuse the resort. ![]() We were able to score a Groupon & decided to go on a Thursday night because the low price could not be beat! We had a great time & tried to enjoy a little bit of everything the resort had to offer. We went to the great wolf lodge for my daughters 6th birthday & the 5 of us stayed in a junior cabin suite. A little patients goes a long way as always with kids… Take your grandkids and you will win the grandparent of the year award according to my kids!!! More Show less When going to GWL it is good to have the mindset that there are LOTS of kids doing LOTS of things and sometimes everything is not perfect… In my experience the staff is calm, positive and effective in their response to any request. I LOVE watching them and participating with them in all the fun. GWL provides an opportunity for them to be very active and enjoy each other despite the age differences 4-8-10…. They also love the Wolf Den Theme room where they have their own little area with bunkbed. They are able to find something to eat despite being picky eaters. Over the years they have participated in probably all of the activities inside and out of the waterpark. They are hooked on Magi quest… never miss the candy store or the ice cream. Seriously we did one of the slides 7 times climbing the 87 steps with glee. My grandkids LOVE the environment … They stay in the waterpark for many HOURS finding delight in the different water activities: the slides, the lazy river, the wave area, the dumping bucket etc.
